OT Cybersecurity Services

OT Cybersecurity Services

Protecting industrial environments requires an approach that combines security, operational continuity, and in-depth knowledge of automation processes.
IPREL supports companies in designing and improving cybersecurity solutions for OT environments through technical consulting, assessments, and implementation support services.
Our goal is to help reduce the exposure of industrial systems, manage access control, and identify security measures that are aligned with the specific characteristics of each plant and the customer’s operational requirements.

REMOTE SUPPORT

IPREL supports the design of secure remote support technologies, helping customers identify their requirements and providing consulting services for the definition and implementation of the solution.
The solutions use encrypted VPN tunnels and support more than 15 of the most widely adopted industrial VPN clients, including Cisco AnyConnect, FortiClient, GlobalProtect, OpenVPN, and Secomea.
Remote access is restricted to the resources required for maintenance activities and is managed separately from the corporate IT network. Access control and session traceability help limit the exposure of the OT environment and maintain control over remote support activities.

DATA ACQUISITION SYSTEMS

IPREL supports customers in identifying the requirements for data acquisition systems in industrial environments and provides technical consulting services for their implementation.
Solutions are defined in collaboration with the customer based on plant characteristics, the data to be collected, information flows, and integration requirements with existing systems.
The assessment also takes into account cybersecurity aspects related to data collection, transmission, and access, with the aim of identifying implementation approaches that are appropriate for the specific operational context.

SECURITY HARDENING

Security hardening is the process of configuring servers and workstations to reduce their exposure by limiting unnecessary components, services, and functionalities while strengthening security settings.
IPREL applies this methodology to OT environments, using CIS Benchmarks as a technical reference. Activities range from managing Windows accounts and local policies to CVE vulnerability scanning and updating operating systems and installed software.
The process also includes reviewing firewall rules according to the principle of least privilege, configuring BitLocker, and disabling USB ports. The result is a more resilient system, with controlled network traffic and reduced exposure to common attack vectors.
